I just added a new vendor to our ever growing list of preferred vendors. QUEEN-OF-CAKES I was lucky enough to be asked to a tasting they had at their facility in Edina. Not only was the cake awesome the bakery and new studio was fantastic! When it comes to making Wedding Cake the queen is Terri Leckas. Terri and her husband John opened their store in 2003. Today it's one of the premier cake shops in the Twin Cities. Queen of Cakes is a small, family owned "cakeshop" that specializes in custom made cakes for all occasions. Wedding cake is their specialty!
Did I mention their Design Studio! Created to provide the ultimate cake consultation experience! Browse their Wedding Cake Showroom and visit with staff. Wedding Cake consultations are available 7 days per week. Soon to come is "Vendor Nights" where brides and grooms can come in and eat cake with preferred wedding associates like Complete Music & Video! I can hardly wait! The "Vendor Nights" will be similar to our "Meet the DJ Nights" As a matter of fact, I think I should have no problem dragging a few of our entertainers and videographers for Queen of Cakes "Vendor Nights".

Mintahoe Food Tasting at The Chateau - Medicine Lake Mn
I was recently invited to taste and experience at Mintahoe's Food Tasting at The Chateau. In working with the Mintahoe Hospitality Group for several years I know the quality of their services. They work very hard at perfecting their craft. That is providing new unique foods, surroundings and service for weddings. The Mintahoe Food Tasting is in my opinion one of the best ways to sample and get to know the Mintahoe Group.Robyn Hellekson with Mintahoe was a perfect host and guided us through our menu selections.
Joy Devous-Baker with Mintahoe is also such a delight. The Chateau is just minutes from downtown Minneapolis.
Located on three private acres in Medicine Lake the Chateau offers tranquil scenery, a large patio for entertaining or just enjoying the great outdoors. The Chateau opened in late 2006 and is already becoming a premier entertainment location. The ambiance is truly inspiring with a pair of large fireplaces that accent the Château's elegant stone, woodwork and skylights.
